Reno Customer Appreciation Event Wild West Motor Sports Park this weekend

A group of us got together on Sunday to check this little event out. At first Firesjk and I were the only ones making the trek than a couple friends jumped in at the last minute. As luck would have it, Jeepysoul showed up unexpectantly just ti check it out.Wasnt quite the turnout I think they were hoping for but it worked out for us as we werent waiting in any lines to go play. Great idea and it was an amazing day with some friends regardless. In all honesty, opening the track like this made me realize just how awesome it would be to take and train newer drivers in a controlled environment vs out on the trail. Anyway heres some pics

I dony have a pic of Firesjk but I do have to admit I may have screwed the pooch on spotting him. Got him hung up literally about 5 feet from exit lol. Sorry bud

We also played on the top portion of the course. Pretty steep incline and decline with a varied degree of difficulty on the rock obstacle. We decided to decend the easier side

Lastly we all went on a trek over the ridge to the west of the

After this we all went to Buffalo Wild Wings and grabbed some lunch. Pretty good day. Thank you to Firesjk, Jeepysoul, and the rest of our Jeep friends that made it out.

I think it was awesome of Wild West Motorsports Park and 4 Wheel Parts fot putting this on also. There was some pretty badass rigs out there.

This right here is why I love Wayalife. Getting great people together for a fun day or whatever else it may be.

The extra trip over the ridge was courtesy of Wildwest Motorsports. We were pulled aside and given the opportunity to run this trail since the supercrawl area was closed. Thanks to them if they happen to be on here for opening the gates.
 
Ah man I wish I'd have checked out the board last week, I would have come along. I saw this event on my fb feed but I thought it was just a sale day at 4WP.

Would have been good to see you again MTG. Should have added you to my last post but Jeepdave15 has a fun (anniversary) run going next weeked. Maybe you can make that one.

Well crap, looks like I wasn't the only that missed out on this and just saw this post today. Did a lot of work to my jeep these past few weekends though.. that's a plus!

Something we would have to look into. Like I said the area is great to train significant others, ourselves, or anyone else at without the added risk of being back woods. If anything may just have to pay. I wouldnt want to do it all the time though.

Well hell missed ya kickrox and Jeepdave15. Im gonna have to fire PM's off in the future lol. Wish you all vould have been there. Hopefully see quite a few of you guys this weekend
