Rear Rubi e-locker wiring and lift

I had my rig on a lift last night just checking things as I continue to muddle through my next build (brakes, wheels/tire and lift). I currently have a collapsed Teraflex coil leveling lift, but extended Rancho shocks sized for what that lift was supposed to yield (1 inch). Anyone, at full rear axle droop that wire was really straining. I could just disconnect the clip from the diff and there would be more slack (and I'm sorry I didn't get a picture--stupid).

I'm thinking about a 3.5 Metalcloak Gamechanger lift--do I need to do something to address this wire stain issue?
 
Yeah, I'd think that too. Although Jeep put that clip there for some reason, and dangly wires aren't usually a good thing on the trail.
