Rear License Plate Holder

Not sure when it happened, or how, but my rear license plate bracket is broken. The plastic clips that hold it to the body are broken off. I'm guessing someone bumped it in the parking lot, or one of my kids accidentally hit it since I haven't been on the trail in several weeks. Regardless, if anyone has one laying around I would be happy to take it off of your hands. Otherwise, I'll probably just look at relocating it to the spare instead of paying for the part from the dealership or online.

Let me know if you've got a stock one that you'd be willing to part with. Thanks!

as soon as my jeep gets here and i install my spare tire one I'll have one. but honestly, id just relocate.

I have one but the license plate light is off. Using it for another mod. Not sure how much to ship from Florida, 32212.

Another thought would be to contact Drew at ORE to see what they have laying around the shop. They are in Fullerton.

One of my friends decided to uses mine as a step to get in when my top was down and they snapped it off I just fixed it by taking the plate off and putting a couple of screws threw the holder and in to the plastic that was left behind in my jeep when it broke and then put the plate back on over the screws

Now its stronger then it was before

I think they're actually intended to break - perhaps to preserve the body corner?
My license plate holder was smashed on our last outing - probably just going to jerry-rig it until I can afford the EVO tire carrier.

In our town plates are stolen for their stickers all the time (the year sticker is then removed) - so I'm a bit concerned for that.

Yeah, I've been debating if I should relocate or not...

I'm in 63011. Not sure how much it weighs or if it would fit into a flat rate box through USPS? Reaching out to ORE is a good idea too, thanks!

Glad you were able to rig something up. Mine is completely intact except for the two little plastic clips that hold the top to the body, that's what broke off.

The plastic around the top two screws on mine was broken in a car wash  . . . I'd dump the stock and relocate as soon as possible!

I went with the Warrior Products kit - would probably go a different route if I had it to do over again . . .

Rock hard spare tire bracket with 3rd brake light and a license plate delete plug is a nice set up. Never have to worry about it breaking off again.

Thanks. Went to take it off on Sunday and discovered there there must have been two other screws that were supposed to be holding the top in.. somehow they both came out but were trapped behind the license plate. So... nice surprise. I was able to reattach it without issue.
