A while back I noticed one of my rear defrost wires that connects to the back glass of my hardtop popped off. I have not worried about it until now, since winter is about to be upon us. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions of how to pit it back on?
Thanks
I've had good luck with solder in the past, but it can be tricky. Your auto part store should have a glue kit. Been awhile since I've done one, but I think the glue has some kind of conductor in it to make sure the connection is good. It's something like this: https://www.emisupply.com/catalog/l...gclid=CNKm3MLnnckCFSISfgodLrYFiA#.Vk5x9rerTIU
Your auto parts store should know what you're talking about if you ask them.
Check out the rear defroster tab fix thread on this site. I tried the permatex kit and it worked for two weeks then failed. Now I've soldered it back on and has worked well since.
