Rear antirock w Evo fascia

I know it’s been asked before but my evo fascia has an extra plate on it that says evo. I saw in a previous post where they said to just bolt the antirock bracket over the fascia.
My question though is about the extra plate, is it purely cosmetic? I wasn’t sure if it was required with the d ring inserts in the frame rails.

Just mount the antirock mount over the evo plate.

Thanks boss, didn’t think there would be enough room to cut on the brackets to space them out that far (it hadn’t actually arrived yet). Got it on now just need to order longer rods cause the baby ones that ship with it ain’t gonna cut it
