Hey guys,

Anyone know of a really mellow/easy going trail near san diego with real nice scenery and views??
want to take the wife out in the jeep but she really does not like the ride to be real bumpy and off camber lol she gets scared easily:eek:
like a dirt road up some mountains with views in a forested area would be sick!

Thanks!!

Ocotillo has some trails but no forests. You could head out toward Yuma and run one of the border trails or there are a few around jacumba that are mellow but again no forests.

Hey Josh
Nate harrison grade on palomar mtn is perfect. Fairly good elevation change with great views and easy dirt road to the top (around 5000'). Runs thru oaks then up into pines. You can check out state park and palomar observatory when you get up there. The base is Off hwy 76 in pauma valley
