Okay so while I am driving, my parking brake light (w/ chime) goes on for a few seconds and the turns off? does this sound lime a simple loose connection somewhere or something worse?

Have you checked your brake fluid?
checking now... thank you gentlemen!
edit: thanks gents level was just above min. level so that may have been why it was so random. filled it up and we shall see if it returns.
