Radiator Fan Override switch questions?

Hey guys, I was looking at a thread over on NAXJA on an "easy" override set-up for the radiator fan. As I am a wiring noob (or boob either way), I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to wire the LED ARB style 5 pin switch using method linked below.

It's a great write-up that appears to have been around a few years, however it seems that there may be an option to rewire a carling style switch for the ground signal? I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how that is done.

Just wanted to say it's all handled. Not really a way the have the style of switch illuminate as the power flow is not conducive to the LED for when the fan is engaged, but I was able to get it working and illuminated under dash lighting for low light needs.
