So we had to use our winch today running Sunflower Mine Trail. When it was under load, the lights were turning off in the cab of the Jeep and volts meter was almost at zero. Normal or what? Running factory battery

Your winch was chugging more AMPS that what your battery could provide so that happens, as the guys stated, higher revs and you'll be fine for the moment...
If you're running on your stock battery, a few more times you do that and it will eventually go the way of the dodo.
Does anyone have issues with quirks in the electrical systems, like bad groundings, in the JK? Libertys have a tendency to have this problem, with things like interior lights turning on for a brief instant when turning on and off turn signals.
