Thought I give this stuff a plug.
Bought it at EJS from the family who makes it.

Guy and his family were really nice. Said he developed the stuff for his horse tack.

I’ve been hitting my jeep carpet and seats.
Also my mountain bike pads and full face.

Stuff works well.

I know what you mean. There is a smell. However, the general funk is eliminated by it. If I leave my windows open at night in the garage, the smell mostly dissipates by the next day, and generally smells clear.

Does it work for coyote trapping?

Based on its somewhat natural smell, I think it may work. And from the looks of that thing you’re trying to get, I’d say it’s worth a try.
