Protek Trans Skid Help.. 2011 Auto JKU

Ok so I picked up the Protek system. Got the oil skid on no problem. Then I move on to Trans skid looks simple enough start removing the bolts that need to be removed and it starts leaking through the bolt holes. Do need to drain it or just work fast? Thanks for any feed back. I have 2011 JKU Auto trans

You should drain the oil first. Good time for an oil change.

Edit: wait, what bolts are leaking when you pull them?

Trans pan bolts secure the skid to the transmission same as the oil pan skid is secured.
