Just wanted to share some pics of my King Shocks that I had powder coated. I decided to go with the EVO Bolt-on Coilover kit and Drew over at EVO hooked me up with a set of Black Kink Shocks but still had the King Blue Coils on them. But blue just doesn't go well with my Jeep so I decided to get them powder coated red to match some of the accents of my factory hooks, etc.. And after checking with KING and EVO on whether the heat of getting them powder coated would weaken the shocks or not, both said that the heat required in the powder coating process isn’t hot enough to change the coil. (for those who wondered). I decided to get them powder coated.
Now I just need to pick a weekend and try to bang out the install.. on top of that, I have new chromoly axle shafts (bent factory one), JE Real drive shafts (banged my rear one up pretty bad), and rear upper control arms to install with them.
What do you guys think?
