We have a great mount that goes above the rear view mirror. It will hold even a Cobra 29. $29 includes shipping to anywhere in the 48 contiguous states

+1 on the cobra 29. Mounting it requires some creativity on your part but mine has made it through 4 vehicles with zero issues!
