So, a co worker has a beautiful 10au and is looking to lift here shortly. He wants evo plush rides but he doesnt want to go over 2.5" lift. So his question was, is it viable to run the 2 door 3 in coils on a 4 door to yield less lift but still maintain ride quality?
 
There is no difference in coils the 3" are the same on the 2-dr and 4-dr but he will get more lift from the 3" coils on a 2dr.
 
The 3 inch coils should give almost exactly 3 inches. Ask him what the difference that half an inch makes.
 
there's always the evo-1095 leveling kit which comes with 2" plush coils for the front and spacer for the rear- if he wants to keep it under 2.5"

is he going to add winch, front bumper? if so, go straight to the 3" coils
 
Evo-1095 $234 Call 714.870.5515. I don't think have it listed on website. it is referred to as the 1.5" leveling kit.
 
Im trying to talk him into just running an enforcer kit instead if some frankenstein job, after bumpers winch tire carrier and the the like he is gonna see a fair amount of sag, and he said he eventually wants to run 37's.

I told him since he knows he wants plush rides, why not just get everything else too while your at it.
