Please help troubleshoot odd handling after lift.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. The 6" correction never sounded right to me and as I had posted up, wondered if it was over correcting during normal driving. As far as why nobody has complained about it goes, most people who just spent over $1000 on a lift rarely have anything bad to say about it.

glad you got it fixed, i'm sure others have experienced weird handling with their mc raised track bar brackets. but to be honest, no one is going to slam their lift they just purchased. :thumb:

I don't mean to "Slam" but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck.....

I do however hope my post will help other having a similar or the same issue.

Hell, I read and read and read, and still have made a ton of oversights. For instance, my lovely wife and I choose to keep the stock wheels not because of money, but because we actually like the looks of them. Now I have MAJOR LCA rub (With 1.5" spacers) and the Genright carrier I installed Saturday won't hold them! While their website clearly stated, "any wheel BUT STOCK", my sudden erection for 37s must've blocked blood-flow to my eyes because I never saw it! Now I'm waiting for wheels from Northridge :brows: (If you caught my post on my balancing bead issues, this will be the third time the tires have been unmounted/mounted in 500 miles!) :naw:

I'm the smartest idiot I know!

My first wheeling trip is planned for Rausch Creek on April 12/13. I plan to post a more formal review after I get some non-road action in.

Glad you got it fixed!

If you are planning on going on the 12th start a thread! A few of us were tossing around that date last night at the Philly sng. I'm sure we would have a good turn out

I was thinking about it.... My only reservation was I am bringing a crew from my local club and the ones that are able to make this trip are mostly stock. I will be on a "shake-down" type run so we will likely be keeping it to Green and a touch of Blue.

it happens. lol. glad your honest. whats your thoughts on the duroflex joints? think they will hold up? worried about the welded rod end instead of forged end? steer stop adjustments might help your rub til you get rims..

I'm not overly concerned about the joints... But the lack of forged ends is a negative. Especially after reading about a failure over on Eddie's previous endeavour. Time will tell. If I lived in a better climate I would likely have gone a different direction. The winter salt I deal with is no joke and will destroy everything! I liked the idea of the joint being sealed more than the isolation they claim.

I thought about adjusting the stops and may have to if the wheels I ordered don't make it in time. This would be fine at RC, but my local trails are VERY tight and I need every bit of turning I can get. My local club is a Jeep Wrangler club only and most of the trails are set up for 2-doors. I already feel like a school bus.

After installing my 2.5" MC ARB edition i feel the same thing but do not have my rear swaybar connected yet I am wandering once i get the swaybar connected if i still get the shifting just cutting down the MC bracket and using the 2nd hole. These roads in sicily have so many sharp turns and ruts through them.
