Pitch and Roll Instrumentation

I downloaded iOS 12 this week on my iPhone and noted their new app for measuring, which has a level as well. Got me thinking that with that technology you could have an app for pitch and roll (and yaw). Got looking in the App Store and found a couple apps designed for off roading. Anyone here have any experience with this? Any recommendations?

The JL has that on the dash now, pretty cool. But I have it on my stereo so I deleted the app off my phone.
