Passive Entry - Not working on Driver side only

Hi,
New to the forum but have been watching Eddie's videos for quite some time. Thanks to him I had no issues swapping both the main and aux battery. I appreciate the detailed videos to help maintain and mod my Jeep. I have a 19 JLU Moab. Reason for the post is that since I replaced both batteries, I've noticed that the passive entry is not working on just the driver's side. Works fine on passenger side and rear gate. I took a look at the wireharness but that looks fine. Any other troubleshooting ideas before taking it to the dealer? Is it likely a bad sensor on the handle?

Welcome!

Since you had to manhandle the fuse box some its possible that a fuse has worked lose. It was common for a number of fuses to be only partially seated on the JL and it’s entirely possible it came lose. I’d say most of mine had to be seated properly.

Yeah, I pushed them down a bit once I put the PDC back together to make sure they were seated. I guess it is possible I missed one. Would they be on separate fuses? Because the passenger side and rear gate are working I didn't think it would be the fuse. But maybe it is if they are on different fuses.

Yeah, I don’t really know but it’s possible… there’s a ton of fuses in there.
 
More than likely the sensor in the door handle went. Just double check all the settings for passive entry thru your radio screen to make sure all doors are turned on before taking to dealer.
