Parker desert splash 2012

Hey guys I just thought id share some of our pics from Parker 4-wheelers Desert Splash last month. This was our third trip to parker over the last two years and cant wait to go back in march. The event Is first class all the way and they offer a variety of trails for all types of rigs.

All loaded up and ready to roll Wed. morning.



The view from our campsite on the water at the Pirates Den RV resort. The event is held at the La-paz county campground which is right next door.



A few of us hit the trails first thing thursday.



Thursday afternoon we signed up to run a trail called lonesome cove for friday rate 4.0. We went back to camp had dinner and enjoyed a fire with a few tasty beverages.

Friday Evening we enjoyed the car crush festivities!!



even local law enforcement tried to get in on the action!!!



Saturday we were signed up to run a trail named Pit Pass rated 4.5. It proved to be a little much for some who showed up.

Saturday night there was dinner for everyone and a huge raffle with tons of good prizes.



Sunday morning we decided to run The Dutchess rated 5.0.

I was in trouble early



It was one of the best trips I have ever been on and I cannot wait to do it again next year! The Parker 4-Wheelers Put on a first class show. There are so many great trails in the area, if you have never been you need to put it at the top of your list.

Yes. The food out there is great. I had been before so I didn't take any pics but maybe I can find some old ones to post up.

LOL!! Nah, there are people from all over the world here, the west coasters just do a lot and are vocal about it. If you need some help putting something together, let me know and I'd be more than happy to help in anyway that I can

How far is your staging area from the Blue Water Casino?

I wanted to try and make it down for the Blue Water Parker 425 race Feb 1-3. Just might have to hit some trails and make a run out to that desert bar.

Well I'm not much of a drinker myself :crazyeyes: but this looks like a good run to go on. Maybe sometime in the spring when I'm down for an extended stay in Vegas?

Here are some pics of the desert bar.


These trails are anywhere from 7 to 20 miles from the casino.

If you all decide to make a trip out and have room for an AZ guy let me know. Our local group plans on heading back out in march.
