Just got my slabs. Looks really good. How did you go about painting yours.

Took the ring off, used steel wool and degreaser and scuffed it, wiped it down with goof off to remove all oils, hit it with a light primer and then several coats of semi gloss. Then planted them in front of my space heater.
 
Looks good... I like the wheels that color; But now seems out of balance with the grey top. IMHO maybe consider a black top.
 
Nice looking! The bolts really pop now.

I was going to paint mine but was worried about the rock rash.
 
This is why I love the slabs. So many different configurations people have on them.

I'm all for customization. Just not a fan of all black slab personally. I love my Slabs as they are. I had contemplated powder coating my rings another color but haven't figured a color scheme to go with the white jeep.

I was up in the air too, but with a white jeep I'd say leave em the way they are. I'm glad I painted mine

Paint/powdercoat the rings white and then paint the bolts black. That would look sick!
