OR-FAB Stinger Bumper?

Wondering if there are any good or bad opinions and experiences with Or-fab front stubby winch bumper with stinger.

I know their tire carrier gets pretty good reviews. Thanks.
 
In my humble opinion I really like the OR FAB bumpers I've seen.

Im happy with my OR Fab bumper. If you end up buying one hit me up. I know a few tricks for the install through trial and error. lol

Is this your new go-to comment? 😂 this is a forum, so thought I would post a question for feedback.

It's not so much that I like it, just might be able to get my hands on one for cheap. But if the thing is a semi POS, than the savings doesn't doesn't really matter.

What I like is the LOD stubby lite with stinger. Saw it again on a run this past Sunday and its tops for me. May still just go that way.

Thanks, will do. Did you have issues with the install? Do you need to have the pump relocation kit with the or-fab?
 
JAGS if you recall Frank #2 ran/runs one. I was looking to get that one on my last JK. They are stout and functional. Just know, you may already, the stinger is really long (that's why she said).

Well frank#1, how long is it??? 😉 This may or may not be his old bumper. 3rd gen though.

Hmmm, I may need to look more closely at the stinger. If its a lot different than the LOD, I may not like that.

It is a lot different. A lot boxier on the sides and lower end. Less of a "finished" look so to speak. Still nice but between LōD and OR-Fab. I'd go LōD everyday, and twice on Sunday based solely on the finished look.

Went back and looked at a photo of a side view. Didn't notice the reach of the stinger before. Whoa. Hmmm.

That might prevent it from fitting in my carpeted garage. Lol.

I think it extends quite a bit more than EVO or LOD. Especially the newer EVO stinger. Don't you think?:thinking:
 
I have had mine for a couple years and love it. I have hit it pretty hard on rocks with no issues. I like the look of it and how I can see the top part of it while driving and parking. It does come down to how you like the looks of the hoop though, when you buy a stinger. They are all different looking that is for sure.

I just went through the same debate on which stinger bumper to go with. I didn't want to spend a fortune on it either. I ended up ordering the JCR Dagger Stinger. Got it shipped for less than 500. Retains factory fogs bolts on and doesn't require the vacuum pump relocation. Something to think about.
 
The stinger is something like 18 inches out. I don't remember the exact number but I do know that the stinger is the longest length that DOT allows. It is very long. Orfab makes some pretty sturdy stuf I love mytire carrier! I would run their stinger bumper iit didn't stick out so far. Thats the only thing I don't like a whole lot. I am either going with the LOD or EVO.

Agree. I'll be running either the no can or rotopax Or-Fab tire carrier. I really like how the no can version allows for the tire to sit more flush to the tailgate and let's the tire not stick out so far. Better departure angles.
