Changing oil this weekend on my 2015 Sahara, maybe the 5th time I changed it and the spring little holder for the filter element broke off that is inside the cap.
I started reading some forums on this and did not want to drive it this way so rode my bicycle down to the dealer for new oil cap.
Got the new one in and no worries but just want to warn ya'all to be careful. Especially at a place like a ten minute oil change that may or may not even know they broke this and off you go with no oil pressure.
And probably their filter which can ruin the warranty also. It is a cheap made part so be careful and check and also use Mopar filters.
