Disclaimer: while there are some Jeeps represented and some girls, there will be a fair number of "other " makes and models.....sorry its not all Jeeps, but not that many showed up...If nobody wants to see them, let me know and I'll delete, but I like all manner of off road vehicles...
So a friend got into Land Rovers a few years ago and has really gotten the bug. This year he organized a Sand Rover Rally here at the beach for any off road vehicles, but especially vintage ones. There are a lot of trails to hit in the Point Washington State Forrest (aka my back yard) and then a gathering an the green at a local venue. I thought you guys might enjoy some pictures...
BTW, all the 30A stickers is because that is Mikes business and the YOLO boards is because that company started here so they are all over the place.
First, heres Mike in his Defender when I got the call to give him a hand...
He was running fine, just no traction in the muck. Rescue went without a hitch, the Heap didn't even get dirty!
Here he is proving that Land Rovers attract models....
