Hooked
Finally got around to getting harness side, rear driver side, speed sensor connector spliced in.

Took longer to get everything needed to do the fix, than it took to do the fix.

Once done, got in and started the JT, didn't recognize the fob. Used the fob to push the start button and started up. Drove around the `hood, no warning lights, 4x4 works again, didn't test cruise control. Get home and park, shut the JT off, opened and closed door and waited for everything to turn off so I could go into Tazer and check/clear codes. Won't go into Aux, still doesn't recognize the fob.

Get out, lock doors with fob (works) set alarm (works), unlock with fob (works), get in and try to start, doesn't recognize fob.

WTF?

Oh yeah, 2020 Rubi JT

When was the last time you changed the battery?

Well, now it sees the fob 🤪

Went back out and it recognized the fob for proximity entry. Got in and it started fine this time.

Was able to run Tazer and clear the codes.

Who knows, maybe the system had to reset after wiring in and connecting wheel speed sensor.

when I replaced the batteries on my 2020 JT after they finally died, I got freaked out because the same thing happened; fob only worked on the locks, no remote start, not recognized but could touch the start button and start it but kept messaging fob missing or some shit like that.
Put the code reader on it, nothing on mine since I only replaced the batteries.
Left it alone as I had other things to do and took the JL; got back to the JT a couple of days later and all was fine.
IMO, the JT takes too long to recover and makes me wonder what it's really doing... conspiracy in 3, 2, 1, does it have the POS failed UConnect and attempting to report?
