The BAD Influence

There's been a dozen of these parked at a hotel near my house all week. Occasionally I see them conveying through town. I stopped in yesterday to take a look. A new car company. Motors are turbo charged I6 from BMW. Axles are from a company in Italy. The exec I talked to wouldn't let me take any pictures. Today I caught them being loaded. They have some promotional videos on their site. They had all potential dealers in North America in town to get a look. I did overhear the exec proclaim this is the most off road capable vehicle, from the factory, on the planet.
Axles look beefy enough. Electric lockers. Both diffs sit on the driver's side. The rear driveline angles about 4" over from the t-case to diff.
Wasn't impressed with strapping job by the truck driver. The other truck had all straps going over the tires.

INEOS identified a gap in the market for a stripped back, utilitarian, hard-working 4X4 engineered for modern day compliance and reliability. We’re building a serious off-roader from the ground up ready for all American conditions.
