No mall crawling for the new JK - Broke in the new JK at Sedona, AZ

Caught the Bug
Took the family over Mingus mountain to Sedona today to break in the new JK. Just under 500 miles on it at the start of the day, and turned the 500 mark on the trails. We drove to the Honanki indian ruins today, and took Outlaw trail for some scenic driving, followed by some exploring on some of the forestry service roads in the area. Easy, but fun day in the new JK. Loving the new engine. I do however not care for the location of the locker and sway bar buttons on the '11 and up JK. Definitely harder to get to. I LOVE this Jeep regardless, and cannot wait to lift it, hopefully in June. Now, onto some pics.

Still have the temp tags :crazy eyes:

Nice. My avil rubi should be here in a few weeks. I plan on braking it in the same way. Just curious, where are the locker/disco buttons? Sales guy told me it was on the center dash, but I think it was changed by the A-pillar.

It is no longer on the lower part of the center dash like it was in the '07 - '10 JK. It was moved to the left side of the dash, just left of the steering wheel. Seemed awkward to reach at times to me. I accidentally turned on the locker when I reached for the sway bar button without looking. With a few trails worth of use I'll get used to it.

I thought they were located there. Are they black? I liked how they were red in the 10a.

Congrats on the new rig!!! :thumb: :thumb: Great drive for the test run and great weather. Hope to see you on the trail!
