Hey guys! My name is Tony, i live in Albuquerque NewMexico. Im 24 and Ive been a Corrections Officer here for the past 4 years now and after saving and fixing some debt looks like at the end of next month ill be picking up a 2015 2 door Rubi! This is going to be my first Off-Road toy ever lol i grew up at the Drags with my dad and got really into drifting the past few years so modded car life is nothing new to me. BUT! I have never owned something to take off road lol Ill be moving to denver sometime next year and wanted something i can drive year round out there and still have fun with! After going out on some local trails here with some buddys i got the bug O.O Since then ive been reading as much as i can find on the interwebs and ive made my choice on a new Rubi (My first brand new Vehicle!!) Im almost done saving up my down payment (Working 80 hours a week right now!) and if everything goes to plan next month ill be going to pick up the new rig!! Only problem is i dont know what color i want HAHA Hope to be on here a lot and get to know you guys!!:beer::beer:

Yeah man ive been creepin on here for a little bit and seen your name! Im down bud! Theres some real nice rigs here in town, i was suprised i never noticed them before until i started looking lol

Very cool, welcome to the new pocket emptying addiction lol

HAHA im no stranger to moding stuff xP but yes this is a little more pricey then what im used to haha

the nice thing about my other grip and drift cars was i could buy things little by little. so having a 5k suspention setup wasnt that unreal because i did it over a year or so. Ive kinda been looking and seems like 4k too 5k is what im gonna have to drop right away for a 4 inch lift lol but its the name of the game right! Just gonna have to keep saving my :twocents::twocents: lol

Yupp lol everyone here will help you spend that money too lol

haha oh i bet lmao but until then ill sit here in the jail working my life away haha should have it and lifted and everything by summer easy! will probably stay mostly stockish for this winter. Wanna get a whinch and toe ropes and the bare min i need. then ill get lift wheels and tires all at once. What i want is 40inch lift on 17 by 10s, and 35s

I would wait til summer for the lift unless you have a heated garage, it's been way too cold to work on stuff

exactly lol so until then ill work on the little stuff like, Lights, S-Bar, Whinch, and both bumpers. that way when i lift and go bigger rubber everything else will be ready

That's kind of what I did when I got mine, now I'm getting to the point of needing to do more big stuff, I've got an appointment January 21st at desert rat for my regear and there welding my front and rear track bar brackets on and balancing my tires

NICE!! ive never been there where is it?

on 35s will i have to regear from the 4.10s?

There on San Mateo right before academy, and 4:10s with 35s is good I'm going to a taller because I plan on running 37s and because of the extra weight of the bumpers, but make sure when you buy your rubicon that it has the option for 4:10 gears alot of the come with 3:73s now

i seen that on the site! but i already had Lucky contact his friend and he told me i would have no problems getting the 4:10 ratio.

Ok i got a question. I CANT STAND driving an Auto anymore!! i get bored lol now a few friends have been telling me that its going to be really hard to do some trails as a Manual? Im a very fast learner when it comes to motorsports so will it really be that big of an issue?
