orfab6.jpgAfter the obstacle coarse at Jeep Beach I noticed the spot weld on the inside of my tailgate were pulling from the weight of my spare so I picked up an OR Fab tire carrier and tramp stamp. Here are a couple pics of before and after. I like the carrier a lot. No rattles and seems very strong. :thumb:

Looks great, I like how it attaches to existing hinge mounts on one side. Any pictures of the failing welds so we know what to look for?
 
Look at your gate on the inside lower pass side. If there are dents around the spot welds its only a matter of time before they start tearing though. Saw it on a guy's rig that came in about two mouths ago. I started to notice it after I went to Lazy Springs
 
I was supposed to get two Roto pacs with the carrier except when I opened the box they weren't there. Called the vendor this morning and they said they will ship tomorrow
 
Nice carrier! It is cool in that tire sits on outside so its different

Here's a picture of the welds. It's kinda hard to see the denting from this pic but trust me I was headed for some problems.
