New Renegade for an old Jeeper

Hello everyone,
I just bought a new Renegade. Been a jeep guy for a while, but I've been without a jeep for a while also. The Renegade is my 4th jeep. My first Jeep was an '88 Wrangler. It was a 4 cyclinder and since I didn't have much cash at the time remained a stock. It was my everyday driver, but saw some light offroading. My next Jeep was a '71 CJ5, she had a 327 small block with a t350 trans mated to the original Dana 18 transfer case. Also had a 4 inch lift and roade on 33" BFGs. Loved that damned Jeep but living in the Northeast and the age of the rig meant that rot was unavoidable, had to get rid of her when the frame got too bad. Then I bought a '89 Grand Wagoneer. Brought the 360 to life with a new cam, intake, 4 barrel carb, headers and 3" (single) exhaust. Ran pretty good after that but again, the Northeast winters caught up to it. Decided to sell her to someone that wanted to fix and re-sell her.

I've been researching the Renegade since I first heard about it. Loved the idea, but was scared of the issues I was hearing about (mostly transmission related). But I've been hearing pretty good things from actual owners online, yeah I've been lurking on forums for a while. I pulled the trigger a few weeks ago. So far, so good. Trans works very well. think I like the vehicle more every time I drive it. Figured I'd join the forum since I believe I'll be sticking around for a while.
