Hey guys, so while driving on the beach my 2008 jk stopped moving. Now none of the gears work. The 4 wheel drive shift just moves freely. Any quick fixes to get off the beach?

Ding ding ding. This is probably your problem.Sounds like the plastic bushing that holds the T-Case shift cable to the T-Case linkage broke. If you have wire ties, you can rig the cable to stay on the lever until you get a new bushing. Secure your Jeep from rolling and look at the cable on the T-case while someone moves the shifter back and forth. If the bushing is broken, you will see the cable moving freely. If you don't see any movement, the bushing is probably broken at the shifter under the center console.
Here is a picture with the part number. It's the same part on both ends. Hope this helps!

That's what happened. Any suggestions to fix it? I can't get it to reach where it needs to go.
