I’m happy to be able to and appreciate you tuning in!Awesome! Thanks for sharing this series and I look forward to watching it when I get a second tonight!
Short answer not really, but I mapped it out before going and I knew it was going to be close based on how much extra I could bring, mileage, ect. The 392 obviously isn’t know for good mpg, but I figured I’d have about 30 miles till empty when I came out to the first town and it was pretty close, Gerlach was interesting on the way up cause that station wasn’t open and I was worried about it when I pulled up, but fortunately could still pump, as that would have put a wrench in things it not. But ultimately it all worked out, even with a routine change. To go out and back from Gerlach on that route would be too much of a stretch at least for my Jeep, but the “normal” way to get there only puts you on dirt for 30 or 40 miles. Which is the way I came out.damn, good thing you stopped to air up.
At any point did you worry about not having enough fuel?
Thank you, definitely a bit cold for my taste too without a heater lolCool video Ben. Looks like some great camping if not a bit cold for my taste.
Yea it was pretty awesome, I’m definitely going back in the summer, when the skies will actually be better, and it was wild how much reflection we were getting off the snow, even with no moon.Great Video Ben! Man, the night sky pictures are crazy cool! It did look super cold but worth it to get those awesome pictures!

Honestly just did it with a GoPro, but let’s do it!We are definitely going to need to exchange notes on camera work. We tried to get some night sky photos near Great Basin and they did not turn out like that.
