Musical road

Does anyone remember this Honda comercial? Think it was a hoax? Well, think again. This short stretch of road does exist right here in California and it is 1 of only 3 in the whole world as well as the only one in the US. If you happen to be in the Lancaster area, take CA14 east to Avenue G and go north about a mile. Be sure to stay in the left lane at or just above the posted speed limit. I happen to drive an 18 Wheeler, so I get to hear it in stereo, lol.

The commercial is about 15yrs old or so. Yes, I know, some of you were still in diapers,:D
I'm waiting for the day they do this on freeway overpasses and it plays "London
Bridge is falling down", that would be THE ultimate prank:thumbup:

There used to be a similar road by Prosser, WA that played the William Tell Overture. It only lasted a little while because it was driving all the people who lived near it crazy hearing that song over and over and over .....

When I googled it the other day, they said there was only one left in the US. Luckily, there's not a lot of houses nearby if any.

Awesome. I think that would be a cool road trip for the kids. Not too far and it's now on the to do list thanks for sharing. 👍

Very cool. Next time I'm in that area I am going to try and find it. Wonder how it will sound with 37s that hum.

Good question, be sure to let us know. I went on it with my work truck ( 18 wheeler ) and it still worked although a bit like a round chorus.
