Are there any Missouri members out there that plan any trips to our limited number of parks?

I'm from Iowa, I enjoy going to SMORR & hope to make it down there a lot more this year. I'm thinking of going down for Marty Crawl this year.

Sweet, I'd like to do at least a couple trips this year. I am happy with light trails since my JK is DD. It's definitely not a fully built off road rig. If you and some buddies plan a trip, hit me up on here, I'd love to join you. SMORR is only about a 3-4 hour drive for me. I have a buddy that's a member of Forbiddenjeeps that goes there, maybe I can talk him into going

some buddies and I are going to Randolph orv around the middle of may for a weekend, and a couple of us are going to the frost bite event at Kansas rocks park the 22nd of febuary and might try to get down to smorr this summer also.

Well when you have a trip planned to go to SMORR let me know. I'd like to do just a day trip or a Saturday, come home Sunday type of thing. Kansas Rocks might be a little longer drive than I'd really want to do for a day, that would have to be a weekend trip. I'd spend half the day driving. I might get some people together to do a trip to Moonlight Racing Off Road Park which opened a couple years ago south of Sullivan, MO. Only a 45-60 minute drive for me. If you plan anything, by all means PM me or post in this thread.

We've been thinking about trying a park out by Columbia, the capital city crawlers take care of it and I can't recall the name right now either, have you ever been there or heard anybody talk about it?

I know there's a state park called Finger Lakes just north of Columbia. Not sure if this is what you're talking about. Last time I was there it was ATVs and dirt bikes only, but that was 10 years ago. Maybe if it's the one you heard about they're allowing rigs in there, not sure.

Yes...Finger Lakes is motorcycle and ATV only unfortunately. Great place to go though. Spent many an afternoon there when I should have been in class at Mizzou...:naw:
