Midwest Ramble on and on

So I started this Midwest thread to get a few area offroaders together and talk about everything and everything.

I guess like anywhere in the middle united states Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois
Heck We don't discrimanate

Ok. I have never off roaded my jk but It's definitely on my bucket list this year. I just found out of some place in Ottawa Illinois. I will look up all the details and maybe set a date to see if anyone wants to join. Stay tuned.

Yeah there's a few of us in Minnesota area that get together and meet and greet. I also started an annual ride out to Blackhills SD and its for all skill levels

Well getting Bubba more put together piece by piece
I'm in process of installing Reid outters, Prosteers, TF Big Brake kit and master cylinder, currie drag link and steering and front driveshaft

Going out this coming weekend and doing a recon on an old 70's-80's jeep trail not used anymore. I'm going to bring the saw and do a little trail clearing and scouting out if it's a fun run to invite a few people on
I am however holding a Cinco De Mayo meet and greet the following weekend and if doable incorporate the jeep run into it

Slowly but surely getting the front end back together

Let me know when you do an event in sd. Preferably in the fall. I can try to make it.

Yeah it's to bad you can't make the SD run in Late July!! We also do a fall colors run north shore mn and also we are going to do a spring SnoFest run again in Northern Minn. I like to check out Eastern Wisconsin or Illinois sometime. Any interesting places around your area

Not really. I've been a truck driver for about ten years and there really isn't that much fun terrain in this area. I mean I'm new to offroading and all but to my knowledge there's the badlands which I am going to the 28th in Attica Indiana and the cliffs in Ottawa Illinois. I would be willing to do a weekend trip but the driving could not exceed 6 hours. Otherwise I'd spend most of my time on the highway.

Thanks for everyone stopping by Bubba's home place for a meet and greet
