Metal replacement oem gas tank

Had anyone had one made or know if any place sells a replacement tank for the plastic one the jk comes with?

GenRight makes replacement tanks but, I do believe they are smaller. They also make an auxiliary tank too.

Not trying to be a smart ass or anything but why??? I am just curious.

I mean with the OEM plastic tank does its job as does the OEM skid plate protecting it. And with the plastic tank there is no worries about the gas tank rusting from all the crap that will end up on top of it or wedged between it and the skid plate (I live in rust central so it is a problem with metal tanks around here).... like I said I am just curious as why:thinking:
