It's been a long time coming but I finally got around to installing a set of LUX Rock Lights on JET, our Jeep JL Wrangler. Hoping to get him out on the trail more this year and be prepared stay out well into the night.

How many did you use. I just got my 8-pack not too long ago....still need get my build underway. Hopefully not much longer.

Looks good, I enjoy seeing Jet getting some love. Hopefully will see it hitting some dirt too!

Thanks! Been the first time in a long time that I've been able to work on Jet. Eager to get him back out on the trail too. Hopefully, this will happen sooner than later.

Looks bad ass.
Can you please pin point the locations for the front and rear ?
Middle once are easy.
Thanks

Sure, I put the rear ones on the back of the cross member on either side of the hitch receiver mount. I don't know why I didn't already but I'll grab a shot of this and post it up. Of course, it only works because I don't have a muffler installed. And, I should note, it works well because I left the heat shield in place and that helps to act as a reflector. Up front, I attached them to the base of the Rugged Ridge DRL's. I was lucky to have them being that I've kept the plastic fender liners in place and with them, it would have been harder to come up with a place to put them. That being said, I know that LUX is selling metal plates that you can install on the plastic fender liners and that will allow you to attach the lights to them. In reality, you could easily make these yourself too.

Looks great!!

Looks ready to rock! Literally! [emoji41]

Looks great. Now that I have switches in the jeep I think these are in order.

Those look great. Definitely will be getting those on the next round.

Looks good.

Looking good! :thumb: Gotta love the lux lights plus how easy they are to install.

Thanks! I have to say that I've been really happy with them on our JT and on Moby. It really was a no brainer to get them on Jet as well. :yup:

This has me thinking.... Can these be set to "Amber" color? For a discreet rear chase light in dusty conditions...

These cannot as they are only white lights. However, I believe LUX sells RGB lights that can be set to different colors. However, I don't know if I would consider them to be bright or focused enough for dust lights.
