Looking to Start a Niagra Rim trail ride in October

I read you can run the trail and you have options to bypass everything. So it seems like it would be fun for Jeeps of all types. If anyone has tips I accept all knowledge :)
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I'd like too but Oct is pretty booked. I ran it stock a couple times, rock rails are needed, but totally doable open/open. Any specific questions you have?

There is camping at sites along the road to the trailhead, but I don't think you can camp on the trail.

If you plan it, I'd probably be in for a day trip.

Oh I really wanted to camp on the trail. My Rig isn't built for Rubicon so I'm looking for fun trails that you can camp on. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1438833736.331865.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1438833754.859482.jpg

Yours will make niagara for sure. We can camp near the trail, I might camp the night before depending on what we decide. It's really close. Call the forest service to see about camping in the trail. I can think of a few cool
Spots.

Awesome, thanks for the info! We will have a handful of built jeeps with us as well

I have a 2dr sport would you need rock rails if you just run the bypasses?

Problem is the only climb that isn't bypassable is the one I used my rails on each time. We might be able to get you by with stacking rocks though. 2 dr helps in the situation.

Since I have 33" tires it sounds like I might have a harder time than you since your running 35's?

What time in October and would a JKU sport on 35's be good to run the trail?

I was thinking around the 24th I'm sure I have at least 2 other JKU's both on 37's and built very well.
2 other 2 doors also built up.

I'll start getting it set up and will post a set schedule in the next few days

That's what I'll be running it on :)

I will have a roof top tent on as well, makes it a bit top heavy but it makes camping so much more enjoyable.
