Lock out hubs

on a 2010 rubicon, are auto locking hubs on the front an aftermarket add on?

I'm new to newer...well, not old...Jeeps and on the 2010 the front drive shaft spins when rolling and no 4wd. Is that correct?

You can't unlock the hubs on a factory JK. You can get conversion kits to have manual hubs.

The JK hubs are, by design, locked all the time. That means the front axle shafts and driveshaft spin as you drive. There are various free spin / locking hub aftermarket options, including Teraflex and Yukon. They entail a new wheel bolt pattern and therefore require new wheels.
