Local trail: Steve's Loop redo

I've been wanting to get back and try Steve's Loop again after we couldn't run it due to weather earlier this year. http://wayalife.com/showthread.php?...-run-(Northern-Nevada)&highlight=steve's+loop

Luckily LoPo was also looking to get some wheeling in, and Alex was itching to get back on the trail having recently relocated up here for school.

So we decided to head out this morning and give it a whirl...

Heading out pyramid hwy.


Airing down. It's much easier to do when it's not freezing out like last time!


Going to be a dusty one. Alex and his girlfriend were hardcore running doorless and topless.


Heading in to the start of the trail...or so we thought. A slight miscalculation in direction had us on a little bit of a wild goose chase. LoPo had taken us right there but we (read I) thought it we were in the wrong canyon and drove around "searching" for the trail for a while. :doh:
But we had fun nevertheless, it's fairly scenic out there.


Cool rock formation.


Maybe it's in this canyon?


I know it's near some of those red rocks.

Nope dead end.


Another turn around.


Found an old abandoned car blocking the trail in another canyon.


Regroup.

I think you need to wheel a little harder. Those rings don't have a mark on them. Lol. Looks like a great day for u guys.
