LED/SMD Replacement fog light bulbs

I've had SMD bulbs in my fog lights for about a year now and today I switched them to the exact same SMD bulb just 2300k amber instead of 6000k cool blue and now they flicker the entire time the jeep is running and the lights are off. If I turn them on they work just fine. Where do I put the resistor in at? On the positive wire or negative? And how come the blue ones don't flicker but amber does? WTF their the same. I've looked around on Google but I'm still not sure I'm correct on what I'm reading. I connect the resistor to BOTH pos AND neg wires? Will this work?

So nobody knows how to connect a resistor? Guess I'll just go for it and hope for the best......

This is actually a really wierd issue. I couldn't imagine why the amber would flicker even when the lights are off. That sounds like a short to power.
