So you're talking about the headlights
No, on many cars the LED daytime running lights are not in the headlight at all, e,g, this C Class Merc http://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...cedes-benz-c-class-cdi-blueefficiency/1135960
Many new cars here the UK are similar to the Merc although on saying that somer are like the Audi setup.
They have nothing to do with headlight itself.
I was wondering how Jeep are going to combat the problem over here.
Over here in the UK LED daytime running lights are soon become law on new cars, so most new cars you see already have them. I'm sure even the Audi and others cars in the US already have them, Audis are integregated in the headlight.
The reason for my thread was to find out how Jeep are going to handle the situation, perhaps they will copy how this specialist Jeep company have handled it. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifi...elsea-truck-company-cj300-le-auto-2012/965110

I got it, the kind of LED stripe in the seal beam..
But why would it be obligated? halogen are not visible enough?
That's another good question, I must admit I not sure why they are enforcing it on all new cars
why not these? in white? http://www.automotivelightstore.com/jk.aspx
a little pricey but they do the trick.
