Leak near oil pan

I was going to install a oil pan skid plate today when I noticed some kind of leak. Should I not install the skid plate before taking it to the dealer to check it out? I don’t wanna get blamed for it right? IMG_0995.jpg

We have had two jeeps from our local club that have had the rear main seals replaced under warranty in the last 3 months. One is a 2015 and the other I believe was a 2014.

I’ve been dealing with an oil leak in the same spot for the last month and a half. Dealership replaced the oil filter housing. Then the rear main seal. Now they ordered a new engine case because they feel the case is cracked.

Good luck!

I saw your thread shortly after posting mine. Why have you not tried to lemon law it? Do you lose all your mods or how does that work?
