L.A. Day trip trails??

hey, im headed out to L.A. this week for a bussiness trip. so im taking the tj down there hoping to find some nice trails or parks near by. im going to have all of friday to myself and was wondering where the best place is for a solid day trip and then drive home...prodvided nothing breaks lol.

tips or sugenstions?

Hungry Valley OHV Area is good for a day trip - just north of Castaic, right off the 5. Plenty of trails of all levels. There's a McD's near the park entrance for the munchies.
