Caught the Bug
Hello all,
I hope everyone is doing well. I joined the forum in 2016 and posted a few times before becoming a ghost....but now, I'm back.
I originally had a 2007 Jeep Wrangler X that I bought stock and modified during the seven years that I owned it. I had big plans for it, but life got in the way and I sold it. I miss it dearly and wish I had the room to keep it.
I did buy a new 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon that I started modifying within the first 100 miles of owning it. I started by adding a Rock Krawler 1.5 inch spacer lift and I still have that installed. I went through a couple of sets of wheels on my Wrangler before deciding to get beadlocks, so I went with Dirty Life Roadkill wheels and 35 inch Nitto Trail Grapplers for the Gladiator. I really enjoyed the truck like that for a couple of years and racked up around 20,000 miles before I started getting the itch to wrench on it again. I recently installed a Rugged Ridge Arcus front bumper with a Badland Apex winch. My flip up license plate mount didn't fit, so I had to go with the classic zip tie treatment. I got a new one that will clear the fairlead and I'll be installing it this week.
I plan on upgrading to a 2.5-3 inch suspension lift and 37 inch tires sometime in the near future, but I am planning on moving soon and those plans will have to wait. Any recommendations on lifts would be greatly appreciated!
Here are a few pictures that I've taken throughout the years.
