Caught the Bug
I have learned in the past couple days of more than a few people I thought I knew but I really didn't... And they all have one thing in common. They either bash this forum and/or have lost their good standing with the forum. I don't want to name names but what i'm trying to say is most of the general assholes in the Jeeping community seem to also be wayalife haters. If you know me personally you'll know who i'm talking about.

Just sayin'
 
This forum is good at weeding them out. :) Eventually they will get called out and get their butt hurt. It's all good. That's why this forum is a tight knit community and why I love it here.

I've noticed the same thing. There aren't a bunch of Wayalife members down here but I've run into some real assholes who bash the site for no good reason. Funny how they label us the "scum" of the Jeep community when they're the ones who pass judgment and harsh words

I was always told when you think everyone around you is an asshole maybe its time to look in the mirror. Eddie needs to make and sell Wayalife mirrors..haha. I've met a lot of people in person who've I've chatted with on here and there is virtually no difference (other than what I think they may look like). Many of which I can call my friends. I always think its funny how everyone has an issue with Overlander and call him an "internet tough guy", "keyboard warrior", etc. In person he is exactly the same. As is everyone else I've met. If you fit in here you'll fit in in person, if you have a problem here you will also in person. That's why this is not just a forum its a community.

Edit: Just reread that and for clarification I'm not calling longarmwj and asshole I was referring to the people he was referencing...haha.

I, personally, would probably get along well with Overlander, because he calls BS out and does it well.
I would much rather be surrounded by people who know their shit. So if my ass is in a serious sling I know I am in good hands and won't get fucked up.

I was surprised when I first joined that nothing was censored, threads weren't closed, moderators didn't jump in and tell everyone to group hug, etc. Most forums do. That's one of the things that made me stay here. Keep it real. In real life people don't always agree.

And as stated here before, we don't have threads hating on the other forums like other forums have about us. It's stupid and childish.
