Just finished a trailer

I just wanted to post some pics of a trailer project that I have been working on. This is how it turned out so far. I may do a full build write up if there is interest.

I started with a harbor freight trailer kit and went from there.
If you have any questions or suggestions let me know.
 
Nice. Build up for me also. I guess you could put a pintle hitch on there.

Nice job! The wood looks great. How is the weight compared to the steel/aluminum ones?

I used a light wood. It's 3/4 inch tongue and groove cedar with 5/4 x 4 inch cedar boards for the verticle pieces. I'll have to weigh the sides to see how much they weigh exactly, but they were pretty light, I added a 1 inch angle iron rim on the top of the wood sides to protect the wood edges from impacts. I was going to paint it to match my jeep but the wood looked so pretty, i just put a few coats of outdoor polyurethane on it.

Definitely the right idea on the polyurethane. The wood looks great.
