John Bull, Dishpan Springs and Holcomb Creek - Big Bear

Went up to Big Bear today and ran John Bull, Holcomb and dishpan with ttfhell, paisano, and ChuckMRN. Had a fun day with not too many issues and not a lot of people on the trail.

I don't have too many pics but hopefully the others do.

We came across a TJ with a burned up clutch and a driver that didn't know what he had gotten himself into. Not sure if anyone got any pics as we were tired but we got him through the waterfall with only ripping off his step sides. And I was close to flopping but no pics of that. ;)

Ttfhell got stuck twice and had to be pulled out. Not that anyone was counting though.

Ttfhell taco'd a sway bar link, I bent my tie rod more then it was and now it frowns. But other then that it was a good day. :thumb:
 
Man, that looks like fun!

I need to take a week off and come to So. Cal. and run some trails.
 
Looks like a great time. I was up there two weeks ago and had a blast. Thanks for sharing your pics.

It was. Did you run dishpan? The TJ was at the top of the waterfall with no clutch and he wanted to go up. We made him go down and he made it. He was disconnected or aired down and was stock.

Yeah I did Dishpan...got lost after we finished and ended up on another trail lol. But we were stuck behind 3 samurai's on the waterfall portion. One ended up breaking an axle and the other overheated.

I tried to get Andrew to come up but he said his kids were more important. :rolleyes:

That was a fun day, covered some ground. Had a slight issue with my rear passenger coil over making some noise but it worked itself out. Only broke out the phone once for a few pics of Overlander.

it was my pinky "toe" and it HURT!!! but for reals, I did have sh*t to handle today.... wanted to go! :eek:
