JL WRANGLER LoD Signature Series ROCK SLIDERS Installed

As I'm sure a lot of you know, it took a while to get these but if you're wanting a quality set of rock sliders for your JL Wrangler, the LoD Signature Series are the ones you'll want. These things are pure beef and from experience running them on our JK before, I know they're up to the task of protecting our JL. We've got an install video coming but I thought some of you might want to see what they look like installed. Check it out :cool:

Shot of what they look like right out of the box... okay, maybe more like hard rock mining them out of the box. :crazyeyes:

Being that this is a 100% bolt-on set of sliders, they are super easy to install. The driver side can literally go on in about 15 minutes or less if you don't drill and install the one additional, optional bolt on the back. I opted not to being that it didn't seem necessary or at least to me.

Nice to have something to step on instead of the delicate and scratch prone interior door sill.

The passenger side does take a bit longer to install being that there is one optional hole that I opted to drill and that required installing the slider, marking the point where the hole needs to be drilled, uninstalling the slider, drilling out the hole (which is a bit of a pain) and then reinstalling the slider. I'd say, about 20-30 minutes to do. Here's a few outside shots to give you an over all look at JET Li now. :cool:

The factory rocker guards work well for what they are but these will definitely do a better job. Hoping to beat them up soon! :yup:

It's nice that LoD has made just enough changes to it that it now looks fresh to me. Kinda like how the JL has just enough changes made to it to look fresh as well. :yup:

They look nice and the 3 points of attachment is good, The only thing I see is the 3 bolts on the bottom of the frame. I wonder how long they will last after hitting the rocks. I was watching your vid on Deer Valley trail and seen you rub along the frame rail a few times. Will be interesting to see how that goes. I'm also looking forward to see them on the trail.

I used these, from Rockhard 4x4, to protect the bolts on mine.

Oh, I'll beat them up for sure. Over the years on my JK's, they got trashed to the point where you couldn't hope to get a socket of them. Fortunately, all you need to do is file the sides down and you're good to go. In fact, I'm still running the factory bolts after 11 years on Moby although, there isn't much of a bolt head on most of them now :crazyeyes:
