As I'm sure a lot of you know, it took a while to get these but if you're wanting a quality set of rock sliders for your JL Wrangler, the LoD Signature Series are the ones you'll want. These things are pure beef and from experience running them on our JK before, I know they're up to the task of protecting our JL. We've got an install video coming but I thought some of you might want to see what they look like installed. Check it out
Shot of what they look like right out of the box... okay, maybe more like hard rock mining them out of the box.
Being that this is a 100% bolt-on set of sliders, they are super easy to install. The driver side can literally go on in about 15 minutes or less if you don't drill and install the one additional, optional bolt on the back. I opted not to being that it didn't seem necessary or at least to me.
Nice to have something to step on instead of the delicate and scratch prone interior door sill.
The passenger side does take a bit longer to install being that there is one optional hole that I opted to drill and that required installing the slider, marking the point where the hole needs to be drilled, uninstalling the slider, drilling out the hole (which is a bit of a pain) and then reinstalling the slider. I'd say, about 20-30 minutes to do. Here's a few outside shots to give you an over all look at JET Li now.
And again, a shot of a nice useful step.
Can't wait to test these out on the rocks
