JL Rubicon Front Drive Shaft help

Up under the jeep I noticed wetness in the middle of the frame. Under further inspection there was like a yellowish green grease/oil slung around the front drive shaft where it connects to the transfer case. Wondering if the drive shaft does not turn when not in 4WD on Rubicon, how can grease sling? Inspected the boot and did not see any wholes or cracks. After watching your video on replacing drive shafts, wondering if I need to replace the driveshaft? Just not sure where the grease is coming from? If I have to replace driveshaft, not sure where to go? I’m on the Eastern shore.

The grease inside the boot will be black. The grease inside the slipshaft boot is yellowish but pasty. Greenish fluid in that area of a JL is most likely automatic transmission fluid. I would give it a closer look.
