JL 9” Heated Headlights

Did some quick searching on the forum and only found a few references to JK heated leds. I have the LED package on my JL and was wondering if anyone has found a creative way to heat the lens. I’m willing to DIY it.
If not or in addition, if someone could list out the heated options, I’d really appreciate finding any that I’ve missed. Thanks!

I've run Truck-Lite heated 7" LED's and they worked but I don't know if I'd want to downgrade to them just for few times in the snow where it'd be helpful to have. Haven't seen too many options for 9" but as a whole, I haven't seen too many 9" replacement lights that I like.

What they said ^^^

But, I just can't get myself to like them enough to get rid of my factory LED headlights. Of course, that's just me and so far, I've been able to deal with the snow.

Totally agree. The oculus seem like the best option, but I’m not 💯 in love with them.

LOL - glad to hear I'm not the only one.

It's been a hell of a winter for us and we get the nasty sierra cement that really likes to stick on headlights - EVEN halogen ones. Obviously it'd be nice to have heated lights to help clear them but I've been getting by without them.

I found this stuff at Walmart and it’s been working very well, all things considered. Seems to keep them clear for a few hours. I’m also considering a DIY project for creating a heating grid that can go over the stock ones. I can’t for the life of me understand why one hasn’t been created after 5 years of this.

just a simple defroster grid in the right shape with a small controller to prevent it from melting the headlights. Just need some time to tinker.

thanks for posting up on the de-icer. I've been wondering if it works. A few hours is really all I would need.
