JK to YJ

My 16 year old niece just got her a 1995 YJ. Her nor her folks have much money. I am helping her with what I can. I was wanting to know what all parts will work on a YJ that's off a JK.

They are completely different jeeps. With that being said yj's are bulletproof. All she should need is an oil change and some spray paint. Mods are dirt cheap and really easy to install if she decides to take that route.

Different ball game, Tjs on the other had can have some mods that will work on a yj (half doors/ bikini tops) but not much< as stated yj part are out there and pretty well priced! Good luck i miss my 91!

My little 92 YJ has been pretty good to me over the years. Yes it's rough on the leaf springs but it gets me to and from when I drive it. If it has the dana 35 rear be prepared. Mine last all of about 13 minutes on my first trail! Heavy throttle and 35 and it didn't like it. Besides that the hp 30 in the front is not a bad little axle up to 35s.
Easy and cheap to work on too!
